Voting is instrumental in getting the right people into office or removing them from Office. There is a lot of things going on in my city that I for one believe needs to be addressed. The Right questions need to be asked versus the motivating factor at the moment.
I implore people to do their research. I have made assumptions off of hear say before and quite frankly that has gotten me no where but in the wrong place.
Most of the recent articles I have seen have been about the current money situation in Baltimore by that I mean the money given or the lack there of to the school systems and poorly maintained areas in Baltimore. I won't go into detail with this post but Research is necessary.
Money has been given to the school systems but was not used for it. Money has been given to the neighborhoods but has not been used for them. Where is it going? Throwing more money at the problem will not fix the problem at this stage. Finding the culprits of deceits and removing them will be.
Within the communities there are too many murders happening. Police Brutality is a relevant issue and an issue that needs to be addressed There has been multiple cases involving criminal acts committed by a few officers. As we stand against the police brutality, We should also stand against violence within the communities perpetrated by criminal opportunist. The communities suffer when crimes are committed by the persons living within the communities. I for one live in the city and affected by what happens.
Not that things will change overnight but my life and families lives are worth more than a moment.
